We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Iron Ore Market Strategist.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by developing and executing trading strategies for iron ore futures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Trading Strategy Development: Utilize expertise in the iron ore market to create and implement commodity arbitrage trading plans, focusing on price differences between various markets.
  • Arb Trading: Take ownership of arbitrage trading for iron ore product futures, encompassing both offshore and onshore products, with a focus on specific China vs Global futures Arb.
  • Holdings Analysis and Reporting: Organize and consolidate business segment holdings, monitoring brokerage activity and providing timely reports to stakeholders.

About the Role: As an Iron Ore Market Strategist, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and implementing trading strategies to maximize returns while minimizing risk.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive knowledge of the iron ore market, including supply chain dynamics, global demand patterns, and market trends.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed trading decisions.
