Singapore SINGAPORE SCOUT ASSOCIATION, THE Full time

**The Position**:
Your role requires you to liaise with relevant stakeholders in schools and community in order to effectively engage the youths under your charge. Youth programmes that you will conduct include weekly engagements, stayover programmes, and camps that focus on developing their skills and character through the Scout Method.

As part of a team, you will be working closely with other departments in the Association by providing consultation and recommendations on grassroots’ needs and expectations, including understanding and learning their operational needs to better equip yourself and be effective in delivering the programmes you will be implementing.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Is passionate about planning and conducting programmes for young children and youth.
- Cares about the values development of our young.
- Enjoys the outdoors and outdoor activities; such as camping, hiking, cycling, etc.
- Preferably has at least several years of experience in planning and conducting youth programmes

and managing groups such as Scout units, or its equivalent.
- Has good interpersonal and communication skills and is a team player.
- Has Certification in the area of youth work, training, counselling, programme

development or Wood Badge or its equivalent will be advantageous.
- Has a diploma or degree in any discipline; qualifications in Outdoor Education or Social

Work will be an advantage.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare reports, presentations or manage budgets.
