**Summary of the Job: (Primary function of the job)**
- A supporting role to Supply Chain in logistic management to oversee the organization and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.
- The goal is to create policies or procedures for logistic activities for monitoring flow of materials and performance to meet production requirements and ensure sustainability of customer satisfaction.

**Job Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities of the job)**
- Plan & maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Direct warehouse operation at various Business units/sites to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives
- Negotiate transportation rates or services.
- Supervise the work of all logistics and warehouse staffs
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management or account
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
- Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance or logistics quality management, comprising the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
- Drive & implement continuous improvement programs on warehouse layout and goods receiving/ issuing to improve productivity to support the dynamic of business units production/ manufacturing processes and Quality department
- Direct or coordinate comprehensive logístical or reverse logístical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.
- Communicate freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management, electronic logistics marketplace, or electronic freight information systems, to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services.
- Accountable for customer complaints to resolve logistics related complaints and non-conformance claims.
- Ensure safety of the warehouse staffs and escalate to SCM Senior Manager timely for any major escalation.
- Maintain KPIs and present to the management
- Perform tasks as and when assigned

**Job Requirements**
- Diploma/Degree in Logistic/ Warehousing/Supply Chain or its equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in Electro-Mechanical field / Manufacturing Environment
- Good understanding in Electronic Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain Management
- Good knowledge of shipping and logistics processes
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Internet and Windows
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret verbal and written requests and directions
- Forklift license
