Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Food & Beverage will be responsible for overseeing all Food & Beverage outlets, banquet operations and catering sales and you will be accountable for budget, revenue, food and beverage sales and labour cost. You will attend relevant Sub-Committee meetings and collaborate with the General Manager to plan and oversee the Club’s daily operations and assume responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the business performance of all Food & Beverage outlets including banquet operations and catering sales.
- Provide leadership and guidance and be involved with day-to-day operations ensuring that Restaurant Managers deliver established goals and service standards.
- Develop and review all Standard Operating Procedures and ensure Food & Beverage management team are competently trained.
- Analyse and plan restaurant sales levels, profitability, control operating cost and maximize profits to ensure member satisfaction.
- Organise Food & Beverage marketing activities and promotional events.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef in reviewing and enhancing menu offering to ensure continuous improvement and variety.
- Other ad-hoc operational duties and responsibilities as and when assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent with minimum 10 years’ of relevant experience in the hospitality / food & beverage industry as a senior leader
- Strong business acumen and has an understanding of budgeting and financial management
- Team player, hands-on approach and with strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Resourceful, high level of attention to detail and possess strong work ethic
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and good presentation skills
- Required to work on weekends and/or public holidays
