Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, menu development, and kitchen operations. They will ensure high-quality dishes, maintain food safety standards, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Menu Development:

- Create and update menus to ensure they are innovative, seasonal, and appealing to customers.

- Work with the management team to develop menus that meet business objectives.

2. Kitchen Operations:

- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

- Ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

3. Team Management:

- Lead, train, and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff.

- Foster a positive and productive work environment.

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.

4. Food Safety and Quality Control:

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.

- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards.

5. Inventory Management:

- Order ingredients and supplies.

- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize costs.

6. Collaboration:

- Work with the management team to achieve business objectives.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role.

- Strong culinary skills and knowledge.

- Excellent leadership and management skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., diploma, degree).
