Bim Specialist

**JOB SUMMARY**:
The BIM Specialist is a highly skilled and experienced person who will be responsible for developing and managing detailed M&E Revit models, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the highest standards of BIM practices. This role is crucial for enhancing our engineering capabilities and supporting the successful delivery of our M&E projects.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities:
**1) **Revit Modelling and Coordination**
- Developing and managing detailed M&E Revit models
- Creating and managing detailed 3D models in AutoCAD
- Coordinating with various stakeholders, including client’s structural, mechanical, or electrical engineers, and other team members to integrate M&E services into new or current project models.
- Perform clash detection and resolution to ensure conflict-free designs.
- Maintain and update BIM and 3D models throughout the project lifecycle.

**2) **Training and Support**
- Provide training and support to existing engineers to facilitate their transformation from AutoCAD to Revit
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance the team’s proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD 3D and BIM methodologies.

**3) **BIM Standards and Best Practices**
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, workflows, and best practices tailored to M&E Engineering.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols.

**4) **Documentation and Deliverables**
- Produce high-quality construction documentation and detailed drawings using Revit and AutoCAD 3d
- Prepare and manage BIM execution plans and project specific BIM documentation

**5) **Project Coordination**
- Collaborate closely with project managers, project engineers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on BIM related matters.

**6) **Innovation and Continuous Improvement**
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in BIM and 3D modelling technology ad methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within the BIM and 3D modelling workflow.

**Requirements**:
**1. **Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture Construction Management, or a related field

**2. **Experience**
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience working with Revit and AutoCAD 3D, specifically within the M&E engineering sector.
- Proven experience in BIM coordination and management
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and experience in transitioning projects from AutoCAD to Revit.

**3. **Technical Skills**
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD 3D
- In-depth knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Experience with clash detection and resolution tools.
- Understanding of M&E systems and their integration within building projects.

**4. Certifications **( _optional but preferred _)
- Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Architectural Design or MEP Design
- Autodesk Certified Professional in AutoCAD 3D
- BIM Management certifications or coursework

**5. Others**
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Strong collaborative and teamwork abilities

- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of Singapore’s building codes and regulations is highly desirable.
