About the role

As a BIM Specialist (M&E) at KTC, you will play a crucial role in utilising Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology to support the company's engineering and construction projects. This full-time position is based in Singapore and will involve working closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure efficient and effective BIM implementation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and maintaining 3D BIM models for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (M&E) systems
  2. Coordinating BIM models across multiple disciplines to identify and resolve clashes
  3. Generating BIM-enabled drawings, schedules, and other deliverables to support project requirements
  4. Providing technical support and training to project teams on the use of BIM software and processes
  5. Collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure BIM models and data meet their needs
  6. Staying up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies, standards, and best practices
  7. Assisting in the development and implementation of BIM strategies and protocols

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a BIM Specialist or similar role within the construction industry
  3. Proficient in using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360
  4. Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes
  5. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  7. Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines (e.g., IFC, COBie)
