Contract Period: 36 months.

Scope of Services

1) Supply and delivery of botanical line drawings.

2) Work face to face with different researchers to produce required drawings which may involve (but not limited to) the use of microscopes, camera lucida, working on actual plant samples, plant samples on herbarium sheets, photos and/or plant materials in liquid preservation.

3) Artists shall deliver the works within six weeks from the date of issuance of Order on per assignment.

4) All final botanical line drawings shall be hand-drawn in archival ink (black)

5) Final plate for submission shall be done on A3 paper

6) Final plate shall include bottom right of drawing the following details: plant name, collectors, collector no., specimen barcode, herbarium housing the specimen.

7) Each plate shall feature a maximum of 8 itmes (e.g. leafy habit; cross-section of seeds, flowers and/or fruits; close-up of venation, flower, etc)

8) Correction works of up to maximum of 3 times per item on a plate (pre-ink stage).
