**JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking to build and develop a team of **2D Artist / Illustrators **and creative individuals to work on our yet-to-be announced series of NFTs, play-to-earn games, game interfaces, game management systems and blockchain based software and systems. The role will involve working with diverse team members to conceptualise, visualise and bring to life characters, environments, and backgrounds.

As a **2D Artist / Illustrator **, day-to-day work involves research references, conceptualisation through hand-drawn digital sketches and storyboards to visualise the flow of events. When concept is determined, the **2D Artist / Illustrator **will create the digital art assets for characters, foregrounds, backgrounds, textures, landscapes, environments, and visual effects across a variety of game assets. New ideas, creative concepts and innovative suggestions are highly encouraged to ensure fresh flow of ideas within the creative teams.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Work closely with senior artists, creative leads and the business teams and take cues regarding the thematic, stylistics and feel of the assigned game project.
- Researching references and resources required to produce the assets of the game.
- Sketching concept designs and key elements of the visual style.
- Curating and cataloguing of the asset library.
- Provide periodic and constructive peer feedback of digital art produced by the team in order to encourage fresh flow of ideas.
- Keeping abreast of current design, latest software, and digital trends especially in the arena of NFTs, blockchain, mobile games, and play-to-earn games.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Diploma in Arts, Design or equivalent, game production experience is a bonus
- Motivated and passionate about digital trends especially in the arena of NFTs, blockchain, mobile games, and play-to-earn games.
- Open-minded and outward-looking with strong conceptual abilities, clear communication and reception of creative art direction.
- Strong proficiency in digital art and design skills such as familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite of tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator etc), Figma and other related design tools.
- Knowledge in Blender and other 3D software is a bonus
- Knowledge in After Effects and other editing software is a bonus
- Good understanding of anatomy, character design, colour theory, perspective, lighting and composition.
- Good aesthetic design and illustration skills, plus an eye for proportion and detail.
- Proficiency in creating conceptual designs of varying styles based on verbal and written directions.
- Has a creative portfolio of fresh ideas that simply “WOW”s any viewers.
- Good communication skills in presenting concepts or ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.
