**Responsibilities**:

- Create stunning 2D artwork, including character designs, environments, props, cutscenes, and backgrounds, in a vibrant anime and/or chibi style.
- Develop concept art to explore and communicate visual ideas and to define the artistic direction of the game, and to contribute towards building the art bibles.
- Collaborate closely with game designers and developers to integrate artwork seamlessly into the game, ensuring a cohesive visual experience.
- Iterate on artwork based on feedback from the team and playtesting, striving for continuous improvement and polish.
- Coordinate and manage art outsourcing schedules, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to game requirements.
- Generate art assets and maintain visual consistency for live-ops events, marketing initiatives, and diverse project needs.

**Job Requirements**:

- Education in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Art, or related field / experience.
- Proven experience as a game artist specializing in 2D illustration in both anime and/or chibi style.
- Strong proficiency in digital art tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a startup-like environment.
- Passion for gaming and a deep appreciation for the role of art and design in creating memorable gaming experiences.
- Bonus points for experience in launched & live games.
- Experience with 2D animation, VFX and UI design is a plus.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant work. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
