Relief Av Technician

**UWCSEA East Campus** has a vacancy for a Relief AV Technician to begin immediately. The incumbent will be responsible in assisting to set up Audio Visual (AV) equipment and lighting for College classroom events and performances.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Assist in executing AV and technical requirements for classrooms, College events and performances.
- Set up, operate and troubleshoot all AV, projection, lighting and conferencing equipment, devices and systems during school hours.
- Ensure all audio visual equipment is operational, clean, well kept and maintained throughout the year.
- Assist the Facilities team in operating AV systems.
- Assist in the College-wide bi-annual inventory check exercise.
- To be able to travel to Dover campus to provide support on an ad-hoc basis.
- To adhere to Standard Operating Procedures/ guidelines and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Assist as required with any other related tasks assigned by the Customer Experience Executive (AV).
- To be able to commit a minimum 4 working days per week on East Campus.
- Required to be able to work on weekends.
- Assist with any other duties, tasks or jobs with similar levels of responsibility and complexity to the assigned job grade as may be reasonably requested by the line manager and/or the College.

**Person Specifications**
- Certification or Diploma in AudioVisual, Information Technology or Engineering in the Electronics or Electrical fields.
- Good to have the Scissor Lift licence or Work at Height certifications will be preferred to confidently operate Scissors and Vertical Mast lift equipments safely.
- Basic working knowledge of electrical practice and theory.
- Minimum 1 years experience supporting events and AV teams.
- Self motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
