Unleash The Roar _(UTR) is about building the Singapore football ecosystem that will serve to inspire and unite the nation. Co-led by Sport Singapore (SportSG) and the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), it is about the journey that will establish football as a sport with high participation, high performance regionally and internationally, and an economically viable professional career. Through the School Football Academies (SFA), ActiveSG FootballAcademies (AFA) and National Development Centres (NDC) around Singapore, the aim is to produce a cohort of players with a holistic development and solid foundation of physical, technical, tactical and mental skills, each of whom is primed to maximize his/her individual potential.

Placed within the UTR team, you will be part of a dynamic team of coaches and sport scientists responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive program that is in line with the Singapore National Football Curriculum and Philosophy. In this role, you will focus on the physical preparation, fitness assessment and training monitoring of youth football players in the assigned training centres. You will also develop, deliver and manage on
- and off-pitch fitness and conditioning programs. In addition, you will provide benchmark physiological data and knowledge to enable and monitor long-term athletic development. You will conduct continuous education courses for coaches and assist them in developing training drills and programs to address and improve physical abilities of players at the individual and team level. Besides, you will assist players with their individual development plans by providing frequent reports on their performance and progress. You will be given opportunities to work collaboratively with other sport science and medicine staff on injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.

**Requirements**:

- BSc in sport and exercise science, with emphasis in physical preparation of athletes or equivalent.
- MSc in sport and exercise science or equivalent post-graduate qualifications.
- Appropriate football qualifications
- Strength & conditioning professional certification.
- Experience of handling industry-standard GPS devices and evaluating the data.
- Experience of working with youth athletes in a similar role.
- Good understanding of the needs of youth athletes and coaches.
- Experience of field and laboratory testing of athletes.
- First aid and CPR/AED certified.
- Good interpersonal, oral and written (English) communication skills.
- Good information technology and digital skills.
- Analytical skill sets in statistics, data science and research methods.
- Up to date with ongoing football and sport science research.
