Performance Pathways Scientist

The Performance Pathways Science team fulfills a unique role within the Singapore sport eco-system, providing holistic support to youth athletes and creating sustainable athletic talent development environments to facilitate long-term success. As a Performance Pathways Scientist, you will be required to have the breadth of understanding regarding areas pertaining to youth athlete development and deep knowledge in the areas of performance analysis and data science. You will work as part of a trans-disciplinary team to support key stakeholders within the eco-system, including National Sport Associations, schools, coaches and parents. You will also be provided with opportunities to conduct, present and publish scientific research in the areas of performance analytics and youth athlete development.
**Requirements**:
- A degree in Sport Science or related field
- A postgraduate qualification in Performance Analysis, Data Science or related field is an advantage
- Deep understanding of data analysis and visualisation packages (e.g. R, Python, Tableau, Power BI etc.)
- Experience utilising a variety of sport science technologies, video analysis software and athlete management systems
- Exposure to working in a talent development environment catering to a youth population
- Breadth of knowledge and/or certification in other Sport Science disciplines
- Have a passion for sport with active involvement either as an athlete, coach or volunteer
