**Position Summary**
- This role sits in the Digital Marketing group and would be reporting to the Regional Digital Marketing Lead in SEAO region
- This role will lead the Digital Media capabilities and optimization strategies in the SE Asia & Oceania region through supporting regional and local digital marketing priorities.
- The job scope includes developing multi-channel strategy and execution across digital/social/programmatic in order to drive business KPIs for Samsung smartphone and consumer electronics category.
**Role and Responsibilities**
**To support, improve, lead SEAO's digital media analytics agenda to transform media operations in support of regional and local marketing and business priorities through**:
- Media AOR: lead and manage the evaluation, performance, operations and relations with Samsung Media Agency-On-Record(s)
- Global leadership: represent SEAO media & operations agenda at global level to influence positive change
- Regional leadership: drive execution governance against regional and global KPIs, coordinate and support local media leaders to ensure both local independent innovation and regional consistency
- Digital Media Analytics: Well versed with data analysis to define gaps/opportunities and to present business case, performance reporting and action plans to C-Suite level
- Performance: maintain and improve SEAO Media Analytics Platform to serve as a trusted source of media effectiveness and efficiency
- Taxonomies: Work with tech team to maintain and improve perfect adherence to media and CID taxonomies by internal and agency teams
- Contribution: progress from a single touch to a multi-touch attribution model building marketing credibility to non-marketing stakeholders
- Leadership: manage team member in charge of digital media to ensure market effectiveness and integrated Search to ensure efficient allocation of SEO and SEM efforts)
- Marketing Mix Modeling: support global and local MMM projects building marketing investment frameworks transferable to all SEAO markets and categories
- DMP: work with teach team to manage the regional DMP expert and community (local + agency), ultimately demonstrating business ROI
- Data Partnership: support the execution of 2nd party data partnership with the help of DMP expert
- Adtech roadmap: evaluate, design, select, roll-out an media and marketing platform / ecosystem in collaboration with local, regional and global stateholders/experts (adservers, analytics, DSPs, VVFBs )
- Media Council: lead media committee monthly call and organize when relevant SEAO Media summit
**Skills and Qualifications**
- A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 9-10 years of work-experience exclusively in digital marketing for Tech/ Electronics/ CPG Marketer / Finance
- Ability to travel regionally (~25%) and at short notice
- Have extensive experience in handling digital paid media channels including social and search.
- Have experience in digital and data-driven marketing across creative, media & technology
- Have experience in working on social media, website analytics, search & other digital channels
- Implemented large scale regional digital campaigns with demonstrable business impact
- Highly strategic and analytical with experience in C-Suite level reporting and presentation, in-market and regional experience preferred
- Be fluent in the integrated marketing communications and the role digital plays in the consumer experience and cross-channel marketing mix
- Be familiar with audience segmentation and have a passion for understanding consumer insights and the ability to translate those insights into actionable business ideas
- Have a passion for keeping up with media, data and technology trends
- Be independent, self-driven individual with highly responsible nature, strong leadership and strategic thinker, an independent, self-driven and responsible individual, with multi-tasking and decision-making abilities.
- Significant proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners.
- Have outstanding and clear communication skills - be able to think strategically and analytically to understand complex or ambiguous issues and articulate strategic solutions, and recommendations
