**What the role is**
- As our Lead Engineer / Engineer working in Land Systems, you will be spear-heading the capability development on electromagnetic technologies. In addition, you will be leading and providing engineering and technical solutions to ensure that the electromagmnetic systems developed by HTX are optimally designed, integrated and interoperable with new and existing platforms and Information Communication Technology (ICT) systems. You are expected to explore new technical solutions, formulate support concepts and governance framework to develop innovative and cost effective solutions to ensure continued mission success for HTD operations. You are a technical expert who is also passionate to lead and bring electromagnetic systems capability development to new heights to support HTD missions.

**What you will be working on**
- Reporting to a Head, the job holder will exploit new capabilities and technologies across electromagnetic spectrum to achieve specific system performance. The job-holder will be responsible for the following: - Conduct applied research on electromagnetic oriented interference and susceptibility across multiple spectrums. - Lead the conceptualisation and development of novel electromagnetic systems including prototyping to demonstrate new technological capabilities. - Develop system architectures to accommodate integration with external systems and perform systemic specifications and functionality evaluation. - Lead design reviews and project meetings with local and overseas contractors and research institutes. - Plan and conduct Installation, Checkout, Integration & Testing follows by system commissioning and training activities for developed systems. - Conduct system safety assessment of developed systems. - Devise or review test plans & procedures for conduct of operationally oriented trials & testing under both indoor and field conditions. - Continuous upgrading and acquiring new knowledge and capabilities across existing and new electromagnetic spectrum.
