This role ensures that the projects are delivered on time for Academic Applications team.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Communications & Information Technology Division, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with other divisions in new academic initiatives, projects, and system evaluations
- Manage developers and vendors to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Ensure developers and vendors perform works compliant to IT policy and Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare technical specifications for tenders and projects
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Perform risk assessments to minimize risks for change requests
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Establish and maintain good relationships with stakeholders and vendor

**Requirements**:

- Degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent from a recognised university
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in similar area and with at least 2 years of project management experience
- Good project management skills (PMP / PRINCE II or equivalent certification is a plus)
- Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Completed at least 2 SDLC project cycles
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Proactive and independent in managing potential issues
- Able to interact with various stakeholders in all levels and with different backgrounds
- Able to understand system architecture would be an advantage
