**Job Title**:Head of Investments

**Location**:CBD, Singapore
**Role Purpose**:To build Cove's supply of co-living buildings
**Core Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing: Building and developing relationships to create a strong network of real estate funds, family offices, real estate developers, real estate agencies and senior real estate agents. Leveraging network to build a pipeline of potential developments across rental and sales assets
- Opportunity assessment, underwriting and structuring: Evaluating the deal, creating the financial projections (revenue and cost), managing the due diligence process, liaising with internal team (esp. ID, marketing, operations etc.) and external vendors, making final recommendations to company management and then making the official proposal to the counterparty
- Pitching, negotiation and deal documentation: Manage the negotiation process with stakeholders and partners, taking into account specific Cove conditions and commercial targets. Submitting contracts and closing deals (includes handling all legal documentation) in line with Cove's targets. In some cases this will include sourcing 3rd party buyers/financing for asset acquisitions.
- Managing on-going project: point of contact with all key stakeholders, monitoring of progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Internal communication: Keeping the business up to date with project progress and liaising with all relevant internal stakeholders and management as required.

**Experience and Qualifications Required**:
**Essential**
- 8 years + experience in Real Estate sector
- Minimum 2 years real estate investment experience with focus on Singapore and SEA
- Experience working in real estate fund or real estate developer
- Strong financial acumen and Excel modeling skills
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing Singapore Real Estate

**Preferred**
- Specifically residential real estate experience
- Strong real estate network (private and corporate) across the SEA region
