Underdog Inn is looking for a **Reservations & Events Manager **with an enthusiastic and proactive approach to share their passion for the hospitality industry in delivering service with a smile. You will be working in a busy, fast-paced environment which requires consistency in customer service, flexibility and being able to work well under pressure.
Underdog Inn is a new Steak House & Bar under the Sago Group, located in the hustling and bustling Amoy Street with high-end dining, amazing food, the best wines and craft cocktails.

**Your Role**
- Managing all reservations and events, making sure all enquiries are followed up and documented on the system.
- Meeting and greeting all customers on arrival.
- Assist Floor Manager in creating and scheduling staff rotas, taking into account the requirements of the business in busy and quiet periods.
- Taking reservations over the phone and through Sevenrooms the online system, ensuring all bookings are recorded correctly.
- Maintaining relationships with key clients & VIP’s, ensuring management are aware of any bookings. Ensuring all of the team (front of house & kitchen) is fully aware of event bookings, current and future.
- Dealing with clients to ascertain their events requirements i.e. Itinerary, events requirements, food and drink requirements etc.
- Liaising with the Management Team and Kitchen to ensure all departments are up to speed with daily bookings.
- Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary, and put forward ideas with regards to targeting potential customers, building relationships with key clients & VIPs & promoting new business.
- Any adhoc duties assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Recognised degree/diploma preferred
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Restaurant bookings and F&B profession principles and practices.
- Expert multitasking ability.
- Meticulous with good organizational skills.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment.
**Staff Perks**
- 5 Day work week
- Salary Range: from $3,000 - $4,000 (depending on experience)
- Annual Leave: 7 Days in year one, 14 Days in year two, and 21 Days from year three onwards
