**Job Description
**Registration & Admission**
- Perform accurate registration for Emergency Department patients
- Manage billing for patients including payment & deposit collection
- Conduct financial counselling for patients / next-of-kin (NOK) who require admission to the hospital
- Assist patients / NOK / general public on general enquiries over the counter or through telephone
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
**Bed Management**
- Perform bed reservation for patients who require admission which includes bed search and assignment according to department protocol and policy.
- Monitor and manage the bed waiting time for patients in order to meet the department’s Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
- Liaise with clinicians and inpatient nursing for bed related matters
- Generate daily report and information for dissemination to the relevant stakeholders.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
**Requirements**:
- GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any relevant discipline
- 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare industry
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations
**Working Schedule**:
- Must be able to perform 3 rotating shifts (including weekends and Public Holidays)
- 7am - 2.30pm (morning) / 2pm - 9.30pm (afternoon) / 9.15pm - 7am (night)
