**JOB PURPOSE**:
The incumbent sets priorities and establishes a work plan to complete defined assignments and achieve desired results. Results include customer experience/satisfaction, continuous improvement project completion, dealer service operations capability/capacity, PM timeliness and accuracy, cost to serve optimization, and customer CVA (Customer Value Agreements) growth targets such as renewal rate & CVA revenue.
The position often confronts complex issues which require careful analysis/diagnosis and developing solutions which may require innovative approaches.
The ability to influence and resolve differences with people from many different backgrounds and cultures (internally and externally) is highly advantageous. Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship with others within Caterpillar and at dealerships. Must have the ability to work independently on complex issues and set priorities.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:
- Consultative facilitation of structured dealer sessions to identify operational gaps (end-to-end process assessments)
- Development/governance of prioritized projects to close operational gaps
- Leveraging enterprise capabilities/partners to enhance dealer capability
- Capturing/sharing dealer better practices
- Operational support of commercial projects
- Champion Dealer CM enabled solutions.
- Act as a conduit between Service Operations, other COE teams, Cat Digital and Industry Teams
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree required Engineering, Business Administration
- 8-10 years of experience in Dealer/ Industry, Caterpillar dealer experience a plus
- Experience with contract management, service agreements, service operations, systems and equipment management methodologies
- Project Management certification a plus
- English fluency
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to work across functions and at different levels of the organization
- Superior collaborative interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive issues and persuade dealership partners and Caterpillar to take specific actions and/or change methods
- Established dealer network/relationships and operational credibility based on past interactions
- Strong commercial & operations principles
- Ability to leverage specialists in various aspects of CVA delivery (Sales Funnel Management, lead generation, digital, service operations)
