Mabanaft is committed to the development of low and zero carbon fuels and playing an active role in the energy transition. Across our businesses, initiatives include biofuels, LPG, ammonia, power-to-liquids and in carbon markets.

In Asia, we have trading positions in LPG and biofuels. We also play an active role in assessing the opportunities for ammonia as an energy fuel as well as carbon markets (including offsets and credits).

We seek a Business Development Manager to drive and lead development across these different energy products. The role will encompass assessing specific markets and opportunities, being involved in projects and leading the project development cycle, including engaging with across external and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Managing Director (Mabanaft Singapore), the role will coordinate and support across other teams in Singapore, Hamburg and London.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert advice and analysis of key market and regulatory developments impacting clean fuels in the region, including major projects, potential partners and competitor activities.
- Originate business development leads across target clean fuel products lines and markets.
- Drive business development initiatives including M&A activities, supply, offtake and investment opportunities across the region.
- Coordinate internal governance and approval processes in conjunction with other teams, including financial analysis, counterpart and project risk.
- Support/lead project developments from origination through to commercial operations, including managing external partners and other stakeholders.
- Support the Group’s project pipeline and execution capacity

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in finance, economics or engineering

Experience
- Direct experience and passion in the energy transition to low carbon fuels
- >5 years relevant work experience in business development.

Skills / Competencies
- Knowledge of power generation would be an advantage.
- Excellent numeracy, communication and collaboration skills, able to work across many different teams.
- Able to prioritise time and manage multiple stakeholders.
