The Plant Controller will be responsible for the financial analysis, planning, reporting and management of Evoqua’s GA based manufacturing activities. **CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**
- The transfer of manufacturing of LX Zs and VNX from Tewksbury to Singapore has created a need for a dedicated plant controller to manage the finance related activities for the plant which include:
Ø Reporting requirements (Pulse, R&O, Forecasting, Budgeting) - Inventory management and stock take

Ø SOX control and audit related activities

Ø Cost control and proper MOH/FOH calculations

Ø Transfer pricing methodology to ensure tax compliance

Ø Management of cash-flow

Ø Manage price inflation pressures and incorporate within the design of the standard cost

Ø Evaluate all plant transaction according to IFRS and GAAP accounting procedures
- The upcoming refurbishment contract with Iontech/Samsung will also create financial complexities in terms of contract, proper financial modelling (to project the revenue and margins based on the probabilities of rejected vs re-usable module parts) and subsequent tracking of the eventual margins.
- Further, the localization of EDI and DIS W&T business to ASEAN+ has created significant workload on the sole financial analyst here. ASEAN+ currently has a volume of 40M USD (and 5 product divisions + IPS).
- The plant controller, hence, could provide additional support to manage FP&A activities for APAC AFS (including V_V):
Ø APAC SIOP process

Ø SIP KPIs tracking and measurement

Ø Inventory management

Ø Cash flow harmonization and currency hedging
- Bachelor degree in Accounting and/or Finance (MBA or other advanced degree preferred)
- Accounting certification (CPA / equivalent) is a plus
- 10 years of experience within different manufacturing environments desired
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
- Sound accounting knowledge with strong background in factory cost accounting and product costing in a standard cost system
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to perform process analysis and solve problems
- Several years of hands-on experience with an ERP system (preferably SAP) strongly preferred - in particular FI and CO modules. Working knowledge of other modules (MM, PP, SD, etc.) desired - general understanding required
- Experience in preparing, evaluating (IRR, NPV, Cash Flow) and controlling (cost tracking, present/final view) capital investment projects (capacity expansion, manufacturing automation, quality improvement)
- First-hand experience of several different manufacturing environments, organisational structures and financial reporting methodologies in a factory context strongly desired
- Always strives for best practice, drives to benchmark against best in class, familiar with LEAN, KAIZEN and six Sigma concepts
- Experience in functions other than finance a plus
- Acts as change agent, challenges status quo, takes initiative
- Able to work independently (self-starter mentality) and also as an active contributor on (cross-functional) teams
- Assumes responsibility for assigned projects and initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and successfully manage competing expectations
- Able to present/articulate business matters concisely and knowledgeably at various levels of detail depending on the audience
- Attention to detail yet able to prioritise and understand the bigger picture
- Proven ability to provide leadership and motivation to associates within and outside finance
- Familiarity with Water Industry a plus but is not required
- High level of proficiency in Excel required
