**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Business Communications & Sustainability (BCS) Executive, APME supports the APME region and provides expertise on BAT’s communications and sustainability agenda. The incumbent will contribute regional insights, manage, and deliver regional communications plans and key initiatives, while providing technical support to the end markets and serves as a link between the region and DRBUs and the central BC team.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

The BCS Executive (APME) will support the APME regional team and DRBU LEX teams by:

- Facilitating the communications between the central BCS teams, the APME region, and DRBU BCS leads, including:

- Helping DRBUs roll-out the global BC initiatives (Corporate Brand, External Comms, Internal Comms, Sci Comms) in their local markets and leading the implementation for the RSU team;
- Monitoring and reporting key communications highlights from the region;
- Ensuring alignment on internal/ external messages with the global positions on key issues in a timely manner.
- Leading the internal communications for APME Regional Support Unit based in Hong Kong including ensuring all Group BC&S initiatives are cascaded.
- Contributing insights to the short
- and long-term communications cycle plan for each DRBUs (strategy/ message/ channel definition, leveraging/ localising global BCS milestones, monitoring/ impact analysis) to build a positive narrative around BAT’s ambition to build A Better Tomorrow.
- Driving best practices and deliver technical support to strengthen end-market capabilities and media strategies.
- Collaborating with the cross-functional teams in the region to maximize the communications impact for various ongoing campaigns and projects.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**

i. **Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Educated to degree level
- Basic communications professional with proven experience in comparable global internal and/or external communications roles.
- Strong experience in managing communications strategy through a variety of channels to reach large audiences in diverse locations.
- Proven ability for a credible stakeholder management.
- Excellent communications skills.
