**About Strategic Communications & Partnerships:
The Strategic Communications & Partnerships team oversees Business China's communication and partnership engagement strategies.
As a member of our small but dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and partners to drive Business China’s mission and vision to nurture an inclusive bilingual and bicultural group of Singaporeans, sustain our multi-cultural heritage, and develop a cultural and economic bridge linking the world and China.
You will be the brand custodian for Business China and help plan, develop, and execute content, media, marketing, and stakeholder engagement initiatives to support a broad range of Business China’s strategic objectives and outcomes in Singapore and abroad.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities:
**1. **Strategic Communications**:
- Develop Business China’s media and corporate communication strategies to construct a positive public image of Business China.
- Lead and implement integrated internal and external corporate communications across the company, aimed at promoting and protecting Company’s branding, and supporting the company culture.
- Proactively manage communications regarding matters which could impact Business China's reputation.
- Serve as a liaison between the Government Relations team and Public Policy stakeholders to stay abreast of regulatory changes and develop communication plans to help meet desired objectives.
- Adopt a synchronised approach across all mediums including news, public relations, and marketing to ensure effectiveness, avoid duplication of efforts and ensure adherence to uniform standards and policy.
- Track, communicate and evaluate progress of projects and metrics by providing regular status reports.
**2. **Content Management**:
- Conceptualise, develop and produce written materials for internal and external audiences to achieve visibility for the organisation in Singapore and abroad.
- Assist other teams with editing and proofreading of other writing materials.
**3. **Media Relations**:
- Develop and implement proactive strategic media relations plans, policies and procedures to support functional and organisational goals.
- Manage responses to media inquiries and proactive news pitching to local, regional and international media outlets.
- Manage and partner external agency to develop strong media relationships to ensure successful outcomes.
**4. **Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper dissemination of the communication initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to determine when & what must be published.
**5. **Partnership Management**:
- Oversee the partnership engagement policy and guidelines to effectively engage new partners and strengthen existing partnerships.
- Identify and invite local esteemed entrepreneurs and officials, to share their experiences with Business China members.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin - written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Degree in Mass/Strategic Communications, Journalism, or other relevant disciplines.
- Good knowledge and interest in China and International relations would be highly advantageous.
- At least 3-10 years of relevant experience or at least 2 years of working experience in media partnership management, research, communications, corporate planning, or other related fields.
- This is an individual contributor role. Being a self-starter would be essential.
