**The Role**

The Regional HR Generalist/HR Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing our people management initiatives/activities and providing HR services and process management with a strong emphasis on employee life cycle management. The incumbent will be part of a growing team and will be responsible for the full spectrum of the HR function not limited to recruitment, employee relations, employee engagement, HR day-to-day operation, and administration. More importantly, we are looking for an empathetic self-starter, agile, action-orientated, and excited in creating an exceptional employee experience for our people.
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Provides value-add HR services and solutions to the stakeholders and employees in the region (South Asia + Australia)
Responsible for employee onboarding and offboarding activities, and any immigration process
- Reviews, updates and communicates employee handbook/benefits, HR policies, and processes
- Manages payroll and leave processes as well as audit process effectively
- Manages employee group insurance, workmen compensation, and other insurance renewals
- Coordinates and track talent development, follow up for actions, and reporting
Supports in rolling out Fortive or Industrial Scientific corporate HR programs
- Takes initiative, anticipate business needs and make recommendations to improve productivity
- Be a Fortive Business System (FBS) champion and support the use of FBS in the region
- The first contact point to address employee queries and employee relations in a timely manner
- Stays updated with changes in employment law or legislation, and ensure compliance
- Participates In people-related projects or initiatives as part of the APAC team.
**About You**
- Ability to effectively manage communication and interactions at all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail and to keeping data accurately
- Absolute integrity and discretion
- Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to manage priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a global virtual environment, with strong service orientation, teamwork collaboration skills
- Ability to be independent in a highly agile environment
- Proficient English communication with excellent interpersonal skills; fluent Mandarin is preferred
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- More than 3 years of experience in HR
