Our client is a Japanese manufacturer of temperature sensors. They are urgently looking for Asst. Manager or Manager for Technical Purchasing to join their company.
Reporting to: Director
【 What you will be doing 】
- Sourcing, planning, and expediting activities.
- Purchase orders to support the fulfilment of production schedules and spare parts orders.
- Process purchase orders for capital and flow parts based on supply/demand situation (MRP), meeting customer’s demands, engineering inputs, and other system signals.
- Maintain purchase order book up-to-date with dates reflecting current demand and commitments.
- Manage short cycle demands, customer emergencies, and forced outages, expedite past-due, urgent demands.
- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Follow up and coordinate engineering activities and product revisions.
- Evaluate and drive resolution on material quality, price, supply issues, delivery and invoice discrepancies.
- Assist in financial planning and manage/control transfer price lists.
- Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities.
- Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
- Conduct research for new components and suppliers.
- Be the representative for ISO Management.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

- Willing to be the ISO Management Representative
- Ability to join ASAP or immediately is preferred
