ING in Asia Pacific

In Asia Pacific, ING offers wholesale banking across 11 markets, namely Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

ING offers both retail and wholesale banking services in Australia. ING’s regional presence includes a 13% stake in Bank of Beijing, China and a 30% stake in TMBThanachart Bank in Thailand.

Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.

The intern will be part of the shared resources pool ("junior pool") between Loan Syndicate and Loan Sales.

What would you be doing?

Loan Syndicate responsibilities: to work with deal principals and VPs on items such as marketing materials / pitch books, data bases, liquidity analyses, UPC memos, MIS, as well as CPRI related materials.

Loan Sales responsibilities: KYC checks, documentation reviews, MIS.

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:
- You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.- Good working knowledge of excel, powerpoint and word.- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, ability to work on presentations, memos.

Experience a banking environment and get a feel for how a wholesale bank operates. Strengthen your analytical and financial analysis skills, and learn how to originate and build relationships. It will help improve your interpersonal skills as we liase with different internal and external stake holders.
