**Overview**:
The Scientific Affairs Officer is a key member of the Scientific Affairs team of ARKRAY Singapore. You will report to the Manager of Scientific Affairs in the Singapore office. This role focuses on communication of scientific knowledge on ARKRAY’s medical devices and services to our distributors and customers in selected markets of Asia Pacific. You will also work closely with our Sales team in supporting sales to prospective distributors and customers, as well as maintaining relationships with existing distributors and customers within Asia Pacific. In addition, the Scientific Affairs Officer will also provide support on regulatory affairs to our Sales team and distributors. This role will involve working with other Scientific Affairs Officers in other Southeast Asia markets, as well as the scientific team in ARKRAY Headquarters, Japan, to carry out a coordinated approach of enhancing the scientific knowledge of our distributors and customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- To create high quality scientific marketing materials (e.g. newsletters) for our distributors and customers.
- To create and conduct high quality presentations on ARKRAY’s products and latest development of the diagnostic industry to distributors and customers.
- To organise or participate in events (e.g. exhibitions or webinars) organised by ARKRAY Singapore or distributors to raise awareness of ARKRAY’s products and services.
- To create and conduct easy-to-understand product training for ARKRAY members, distributors and customers.
- To support ARKRAY Sales team and distributors, and when required, liaise with ARKRAY headquarters’ regulatory team on regulatory matters related to ARKRAY medical devices and services.
- To participate proactively in meetings with other global Scientific Affairs personnel to exchange information for enhancing the overall scientific knowledge of ARKRAY.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good command of both written and spoken English. Fluency in a second language will be advantageous.
- Able to create and conduct high quality presentations in person or online.
- Able to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
- Possess a professional demeanor and strong work ethic, as well as the ability to adapt to different cultures.
- Possess a customer-oriented attitude with an attention to detail.
- Able to operate Microsoft Office.
- Willing to travel overseas for short work trips.

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ working experience in the diagnostic industry.
- Experience in the marketing field (either in a leading or supporting role).
- Experience in conducting market research to analyze customers’ and competitors’ trends and habits through customer visits and online research.
- Experience in creating and localising marketing materials for various marketing platforms.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining existing marketing channels and ensuring compliance with local regulations or requirements.
