The ‘Project Manager - Data’ is an IT delivery management role within the Data Team in the client setup. Their specific responsibilities will include

**Scope of Work**:
**Managing stakeholders and priorities**:

- Working with the ‘Lead Business Analyst - Data’ to establish a prioritisation mechanism aligned with the client's Data Strategy and Governance approach
- Ensuring clear definition, agreement, prioritisation and management of scope with stakeholders
- Maintaining an understanding of the implications of changing business needs
- Ensuring proactive communications to all stakeholders to manage the journey of change
- Running meetings to get consensus across large groups and dealing with conflicting views
- 2. **Agile delivery**:

- Co-ordinating and facilitating team ceremonies e.g. stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
- Leading and coaching agile principles and practices, and using a variety of tools and techniques to optimise the team’s flow of delivery
- Motivating and focussing the team, and protecting them from external distractions
- Removing impediments and acting as servant leader
- 3. **Project delivery**:

- Writing project documentation, creating plans and setting up collaboration frameworks (e.g. writing Project Inception Documents, Project Briefs, Project Plans, RACIs, budgets etc., setting up Sharepoint, Confluence, Teams)

**Technical Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an IT Project Manager in an investment bank, trading house, software company or a tier-1 consultancy
- Experience project managing software delivery across all aspects of the lifecycle and working with highly skilled technical teams (including integration and software development)
- Extensive knowledge and experience of IT Project Management and Agile delivery approaches (e.g. PRINCE 2, Scrum, Kanban etc.)
- Able to lead a team as a project manager or act as servant leader judge when to switch between modes to get the most out of the team
- Good presentation skills (written and spoken), and the ability to get key messages across to senior managers in order for them to make decisions
- Ability to work under pressure in a trading environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: $8,000.00 - $11,000.00 per month
