Singapore NEW HOPE COMMUNITY SERVICES Full time

Work with Case Manager to assess client for job readiness. Jointly devise assistance and intervention plan for client on employment related and training / upgrading areas.
- Conduct coaching sessions with clients to educate them on job market, understand their barriers and preferences and devise a Job Search strategy.
- Continue to coach and track progress towards employment goals.
- Develop resume and coach client on interview skills when needed.
- Guide and hand-hold clients with job search process.
- Deliver employ ability messaging in the form of talks, meetings, and games during client support group sessions.
- Track and report KPI achievements to management and programme sponsor.
- Maintain partnership and educate with Employers on win-win strategies for placing clients in jobs.
- Motivate and encourage clients to find jobs and stay employed. Administer incentive schemes to recognise and reward successful clients.
- Coaching skills with ability to establish a trusting relationship with clients. Ability to conduct and facilitate group sessions.
- Manage other internal and external stakeholders in their specialised fields to fulfil programme requirements e.g. Volunteers, Social Media, Sponsors, Gov Agencies, Employers, Partners etc.
- Report to Programme Lead.

**_Technical Competencies: _**
- Diploma in related field or established experience in related field.
- HR Experience especially as a recruiter for basic level jobs e.g. Cleaners, Security, Warehouse Assts, F&B etc.
- Fluent in one other local language
- Programme management experience leading a mid-sized programme.

**_Core Competencies: _**
- 2 - 3 years of Social Work experience either as a Staff or Volunteer.
- Exposure to Social Work and Case Management to have good understanding of client psycho-socio barriers to employment.
- Ability to relate with and provide emotional and practical assistance to Adults from all walks of life.

**_Preferred achievements / characteristics: _**
- Compassion for adults of working age with range of backgrounds including ex-offenders, seniors, back-to-work mothers, displaced adults and youths. We provide assistance regardless of their education level, working experience or trade qualifications.
