Account Executive

**Overview of Role**
The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing prospective clients within the SaaS sector. This role requires a proactive sales professional who is skilled in client relationship management, understands the Challenger Sales methodology, and is intrinsically motivated to exceed sales targets consistently.
**Responsibilities**
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through consultative sales methods and a Challenger Sales approach
- Conduct client and market research to strategically target potential customers
- Lead the sales process from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure
- Maintain accurate sales records and manage CRM data for reporting, analysis and revenue forecasts
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries and deliver product and service presentations
- Support training and guidance of channel sales partners where necessary
- Foster strong relationships with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Travel to client premises when required to drive engagement and deal closure
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Accountancy, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years proven sales experience within a SaaS environment
- Demonstrated track record as a top sales performer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and challenges, with a customer-first mindset
