Simply put, our mission is to make smarter robots for a better world. We provide products and services in reality capture and robot automation. Our robots and supporting solutions are used by customers in academia, transportation, construction, facilities management, logistics, security and defense.
dConstruct is headquartered in Singapore with presence in Toronto and Munich. We are expanding to San Francisco, Tokyo, Seoul and Shenzhen.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
**Responsibilities**
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures a strong presence
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
**Requirements and skills**
- Proven sales track record as a sales representative, sales manager, or business development manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in a startup organisation
- Proven market knowledge and ability to drive the sales process from plan to close in the startup
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Time management and planning skills
- Willing to travel
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a strong asset
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- BSc, BA or MS degree in business administration, sales or a related field
