**II. Overview of Partnerships Team / Unit**

The Partnerships Team develops and builds partnerships and relationships that drive income to support WWF’s conservation goals. The team’s aim is to contribute significant, sustainable levels of philanthropic funding from 1) high-networth individuals (HNWI) 2) trusts and foundations, 3) companies to support the local (Singapore-based) and regional (mainly South-East Asia) conservation, sustainability and education programmes in order to advance WWF-Singapore’s mission.

The team works closely with the Senior Management Team and peers in Conservation, Communications, and Finance to effectively contribute to the implementation of WWF-Singapore’s partnerships and philanthropic strategy.
- ** Major Functions**

The Manager, Partnership Communications and Stewardship will be responsible for leading a team driving the account management, stewardship and communications of WWF’s global/regional and local corporate partnerships led out of Singapore and philanthropy partners.

As part of the Fundraising department, the Manager will contribute to bringing conservation knowledge to the local community, focusing particularly on building the relationship and leading delivery of communications work with our partners.

It will be very important for this person to be an effective collaborator who can work well across functions within WWF to deliver a well-integrated and successful programme with our external partners.
- ** Major Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Primary Role in **Partnership Communications and Stewardship (90%)**

**Strategic Direction**
- Work closely with the Line Manager in setting strategic direction and growth plans to ensure long lasting partnerships are built both for corporate (various companies) and philanthropy (major donors, UHNWIs) partners
- Lead, mentor, and motivate stewardship personnel/ direct reports in their roles within the department.
- Execute periodic performance evaluations to ensure that the team is on the right path to achieving the goals set.
- Work and collaborate with the various departments to elevate the engagement experience for existing and potential partners.
- Work with WWF’s Market Transformation Team to ensure the delivery of successful transformational partnerships.

**Account Management and Relationship Building**
- Primarily responsible for the health of our key accounts, leading to multi-year partnerships growing in scope and investments behind conservation projects
- Manage a set of high-value accounts and ensure that existing donors from local and global partners are stewarded appropriately, resulting in profitable long term partnerships.
- Leading a team of stewardship personnel, have oversight on the various partnerships keeping a helicopter view and providing support when needed.
