**What You'll Do**:

- Oversee the operation and maintenance of Gas Transmission Infrastructure
- Plan and implement maintenance schedule to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Gas Transmission Pipeline and its associated facilities
- Plan and implement patrolling programs for the Gas Transmission Pipeline
- Control and monitor third-parties earthwork activities in the vicinity of Gas Transmission Pipeline to prevent damages to the pipeline
- Plan, organize and execute commissioning / decommissioning of pipelines and facilities
- Review and ensure adherence to safe works practices
- Formulate, review and implement standard operating procedures, emergency response plans and other relevant procedures
- Ensure the adequate stocking of spares, and initiate purchase when required, for routine maintenance and emergencies
- Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to maintain operation readiness
- Supervise all Technical Officers and Technicians of the section
- Establish and review documentation and filing system
- Prepare specifications for procurement and initiate calling and evaluation of quotation/tenders
- Train and upgrade skill of the section to maintain competence in the operation and maintenance of the Gas Transmission Infrastructure
- Lead and participate in emergency drills and exercises to ensure preparedness
- Develop and manage the section’s annual budget, ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits
- Monitor expenditures within approved budget
- Perform standby duties outside regular office hours as required

**What You'll Need**:

- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from university recognized by PE Board Singapore.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous
- Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team
