
Service Support Technician

As a Service Support Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting Stanley Black and Decker products. Your role involves providing technical support, repair services, and participating in product demonstrations and roadshows. You will work closely with our Sales and Technical Specialists to deliver outstanding customer service and technical expertise.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support Sales and Technical Sales Specialists in product demonstrations at customer sites
- Participate in local roadshows, demonstrating product use and promoting service programs
- Provide post-sales technical advice to customers via phone or in person
- Conduct in-house repair and servicing of power and hand tools
- Perform equipment failure analysis and educate customers on preventive maintenance
- Manage admin tasks including job cards, invoicing, quotations, and spare parts inventory
- Document equipment symptoms and issues for follow-up
- Coordinate with distributors and dealers on event-specific technical support
- Identify, escalate, and resolve technical and quality issues
- Support other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor
**Job Requirements**:
- Diploma in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in equipment servicing and repair
- Strong technical aptitude with power and hand tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven, independent and team-oriented
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Possess a valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean record
- Knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime
