Overview / Purpose of the position

Act as the go to person in APAC for Digital Trust Solutions and to promote the schemes at Group level. Develop the related assessment, training and product certification services, review market research information from global marketing, regional and local marketing teams; generate product requirements; determine specifications, pricing guidelines and go-to-market strategies in full coordination with the Assurance Global Head of Digital Trust, Digital Trust Technical Manager and relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Lead product/service promotion and roll-out campaigns by analysing proposed product/service requirements and development plans; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules and ensure necessary resources are available on-time for supporting services delivery
- Review market information including volume of activities, geographical distribution & forecast demands, identify respective risk and opportunities and recommend pricing strategy
- Assess competition comparing BSI's products /services to competitors' offerings
- Engage Country Managers, cluster leaders and Regional MD to ensure scheme and qualification requirements are fit for purpose, not excessively onerous, scalable and able to go to market competitively
- Establish and maintain documented information, including scheme manual, interpretation documents, tools and mechanisms for supporting delivery of the relative certification schemes
- Assess current resources and forecast required resources including HR, tools, other support
- Determine training requirements for certification personnel and work collaboratively with Assessor & Tutor Academy Team to develop training materials
- Determine needs of accreditation, obtain and maintain the required accreditation, entertain a positive relationship with the relevant accreditation bodies, and other relevant associations
- Work collaboratively with other key roles (Business Development Manager, Product Development Managers, Assurance Global Heads, Group Technical Director, C&R Regional Leaders, Group Marketing, local marketing and business development teams to create a unique value proposition, define program/product development plans for target sectors and geographies
- The role should contribute to the development of our Thought Leadership on Digital Trust, and represent BSI in regional and global relevant events, webinars, etc. “basically they act as APAC ambassador for Digital Trust”
- Monitor the implementation of the development plans utilizing existing operating tools and system and conduct annual evaluation of the program/product
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and marketing events; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
- The role should interact with cluster leaders, Country Managers, Group Marketing Director (shouldn’t this be Assurance Marketing Director instead of group) and Group Marketing team, Local Marketing teams, Group Training Stream Director (shall we say Assurance business line leaders instead to cover SC, PC and TR) and Group Training team, Group Technical Director, C&R Regional Leaders training team

Person Specification
- Proven leadership skills with recognised ability to engage different functions in the product development process with a strong go to market background; Solid experience in ICT sector/industry (including but not limited to ISMS and PCI DSS)
- Strong commercial background supported by solid technical knowledge of specific products in the Digital Trust areas
- Analytical skills to collaborate with business & product development to grow BSI market share
- Demonstrable experience of working in a global business environment, within the B2B, information products and/or or services sector
- Proven experience of best practice NPD processes in the professional services industry including in market engagement, with factual Performance tracking (with relevant financial/market drive KPI’s)
- Proven track record of delivery in an international working environment with an additional appreciation of different cultures
- Open, transparent and collaborative with strong influencing skills
- Able to work with the regions, streams and sectors to understand their needs, and to ensure that their strategic priorities can be delivered
