**About The Position**: 

**_Our Sales Manager (Airlines Partnership) will be based in Singapore and have an Independent Contractor relationship with Freightos._**

**_ _**WebCargo digitizes global freight sales for over 2,000 of the world’s largest logistics providers and carriers. Or, in plain English, we help move the world, offering incredible technology that powers almost a third of the global air cargo market.

We’re not alone either. WebCargo is a proud part of the Freightos Group, a logistics technology company that aims to make global trade frictionless. That’s not cheap, so we’ve raised nearly $100 million from investors like GE Ventures, the Singapore Exchange and Aleph, making and have gotten the BBC, TechCrunch, and the Wall Street Journal excited about freight.

Turns out it’s kind of a big deal. As one of the largest tech platforms for a huge industry (the phone or computer you’re reading this on was, after all shipped), we’ve been crushing it with double-digit growth, year after year.

Since we aim for the sky (air freight tech company and all ), we’re now bringing all air cargo bookings online with eBookings, creating the world’s largest live air freight platform with companies like United Airlines, Air France, IAG, and many more.

And, if you haven’t guessed it by now, we need someone to help us sell. Really, really well.

As a Sales Manager (Airlines Partnerships), you report to the Senior Sales Manager - Airlines Supply. You will lead global transformation of the industry, introducing airlines to a radically faster, more efficient and advanced way to sell their capacity. Remember the first time someone showed you an iPhone? It’s like that, but every day. Doing this well includes:

- As a tech company, numbers are everything. You will have a target related to the onboarding of new airlines.
- Building a network of carriers that will cover our freight forwarder needs.
- Understanding our partner’s needs and adapting our solutions to meet their expectations.
- Introducing new features and products we offer to our partners.
- Build and manage projects; from meeting a future partner to bringing them online and growing their business.
- Think digital, act digital.

**Requirements**:
**Basic Requirements**
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the air cargo industry, ideally working in the Freight forwarding industry with exposure to Airlines.
- You have to talk the talk. Which means you need to be a fluent English speaker, other languages are a plus.
- Capacity to meet targets, proactive, results-oriented and able to work independently
- Be prepared for some travel.
- Bringing an industry online is rarely a straight line from A to B. You don’t have to be an acrobat but you should be able to adapt to fast-changing environments.
- Be able to build long-term business relationships. Including the ups and downs, this is not always a walk in the park.
- Be resilient. Be ready to be rejected, ignored, or challenged, and always be prepared to come back with a positive attitude. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
- Have the capacity to think outside the box. Not all answers to the same questions have to be the same.
- Be able to interact at different levels of our partner’s organizations. On eBay with the IT Exec, next day with their Commercial Director.
- Able to translate customer requirements into solutions that are deliverable and meet our own internal strategies.
- Good analytical skills.

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Bachelor in Business Administration or similar.
- Experience at global companies. Because we’re very global.
- Experience in an online transactional business company (meaning a tech company whose revenue is coming from price per online transaction).

**Location**: This is a work-from-home job, but you have to be based in Singapore.
