Singapore COMMUNICABLE DISEASES AGENCY Full time

The Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) is a new government agency established to oversee Singapore’s communicable disease preparedness, prevention and control, surveillance, risk assessment and outbreak response

You will manage a team carrying out epidemic intelligence, risk assessment and risk communications activities pertaining to global infectious disease threats, to support Singapore’s public health response and preparedness for communicable diseases.

You will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that will require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

**What will you be working on?**
- You will manage a team responsible for the identification, verification, triage, risk assessment and communication of global public health signals, events, and threats.
- You will also lead the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency in epidemic intelligence and risk assessment.
- In addition, you will oversee communications with overseas health authorities and international health organizations to fulfil Singapore’s international public health responsibilities and obligations, as well as foster technical collaborations with overseas counterparts

**What are we looking for?**
- Minimally recognised education in health science, public health, epidemiology or related fields
- At least 4 years of work experience in public health
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Agile and analytical mindset
- Keen eye for details
- Precautionary attitude
- Resilient and flexible under pressure
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience
