**About this role**
The Consultant is to participate in overall development and enhancement of Arup Acoustics’ existing capability and consequential business growth in Singapore and the region (eg Malaysia and Indonesia), delivery of projects to meet the expectations of clients and consequential business growth. The role operates primarily within Singapore and will contribute to the other services provided by Arup’s Acoustics practice within the Australasia Region and the globe.

**What will I do?**
- Provide acoustics design input on key projects in the region (eg Singapore and Malaysia)
- Project management of a wide range of acoustics projects (eg Singapore and Malaysia) including managing the time, quality and cost performance of projects.
- To support the team leader (Acoustics and Audio-Visual Design) in business development and marketing
- Extend relationships with existing key clients to enable an expansion of business opportunities for the acoustics, and (where appropriate) other business groups within the region.
- Where appropriate, to liaise with other Arup business groups within and across the region, providing expertise in acoustics as appropriate.

**What will I bring?**
- Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Acoustics, Physics and etc) or similar area;
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in providing specialist technical acoustics design advice
- Experience in the consulting engineering environment, including the ability to advise clients on cost-effective, sustainable solutions
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines
- Good task coordination, able to develop commercial awareness in managing projects
