**Role Overview**

Our consultants are responsible for providing professional services to PTS’ clients throughout strategy, design, procurement and implementation stages of projects.

We are looking for recruit a Junior Acoustic Consultant to further expand the consultancy team. Duties will be unique based on the project, client or industry.

You will be looking to start a career in Acoustics and be a self-motivated, hands on, ambitious with a positive attitude, a high standard of written and verbal English, with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. You will be exposed to an Asia-wide network of industry a network of influencers and decision makers.

**Responsibilities**

The Junior Acoustic Consultant will:
1. Working as part of a multi-skilled team to provide acoustic related services to PTS’ clients

2. Convert client requirements from concept design to fully functional solutions

3. Represent PTS in a professional manner at all times and exercise good communication skills with the Client; other design bodies and contractors

4. Performing installation of monitoring equipment and conducting noise surveys including sound insulation testing

5. Review architectural and MEP drawings

6. Performing prediction and calculation of sound insulation and MEP noise assessment

7. Fact-checking, proof-reading, finding and organizing relevant data and performing research and analysis as required

8. Summarise results and assist in the creation of spreadsheets for analysis, and tables and charts for reports

9. Maintain accurate records of and ensure timely delivery of requests

10. Attend meetings and provide ad-hoc support to the team

11. Understand PTS business, our projects and our customers

**Experience and Characteristics**

4. A proactive and professional attitude with Methodical process orientated approach and Excellent interpersonal skills

5. Have strong organisational, Meticulous eye for detail and innovative with excellent interpersonal skills

6. Be able to command and empathise with both internal and client teams

7. Collaborate with other PTS teams (AV, physical security, Professional and Managed Services) and service lines so that a united PTS can provide a complete solution to our clients

**Other Qualifications & Skills**

1. Experience in building acoustic and environmental acoustic desired

2. Understand the complexities of acoustic in construction environments

3. Related higher education in relevant acoustics field or a general engineering degree and the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Diploma is a plus

4. Basic knowledge of calculation software such as SoundPLAN and Insul

5. Understanding of MS Project, MS Office and CAD Software

6. Excellent spoken and written English and able to travel Asia-wide
