
Regional Digital Director

As the Regional Digital Director, you operate at the very heart of the business. The team you would be part of have been tasked with creating a recognized market-leading position across APAC, in strategic planning and account management.
**Reporting Structure**:
- You report to the Business Director. You work with the global and local market digital teams
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead, identity and creative opportunities with key digital publisher/partner in for the APAC region.
- Lead, identity and creative digital opportunities within channels/formats/tech solutions in premium space/categories.
- Identify new targeting opportunities that will support multiple marketings within APAC.
- Identify & develop new opportunities, working closely with the internal teams and agency partners.
- Review ecommerce and search opportunities, supporting markets in implementing best practices and new media ideas in performance marketing.
- Network integration and connectivity with Global, Regional and Local stakeholders in the respective discipline functions and workstreams.
- Ensure APAC are incorporated within the global decisions and directions.
- Manage & maintain relationships with internal customers/partners to develop campaign performance/progress to goals.
- Support local markets on their media planning and buying strategies - Provide recommendations and executional strategies for new opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of digital marketing in accordance with client goals. Strong communicator and storyteller, possesses excellent verbal, written and presentation skills derived from data.
**Strategic Lead for APAC markets**
- Serve as thought leader in aligning digital marketing strategy with client’s business goals and objectives.
- Working with the all APAC market teams, help define scope and recommended approach for digital, role of various digital platforms. Play an advisory role on client and market engagements, serving as a digital strategy advisor to both market leads (internal) and clients (external).
**Digital Roadmap for APAC countries**
- Responsible for the digital development and delivery of the digital roadmap for the brands. Working closely with the client to ensure projects are prioritized and deliverables are met.
- Identify digital need gap in the markets and recommend solutions.
- Develop and share frameworks and methodologies for accelerating digital transformation within local markets. Lead or be a contributing part of working teams on specific digital projects in market.
**Champion Global to Local Digital adoption**
- Work closely with Global Digital team to customize Global Digital and Platform guidelines for APAC markets. Lead the digital projects that Global teams have prioritized for the year and ensure that it gets executed in the identified local markets relevantly & efficiently.
**Manage market teams and specialist relationship**
- Closely work with Digital leads in respective Asia markets, help them equip with right digital knowledge and also aid in improving processes.
- Work very closely with platform specialists within the agency to develop strong strategies across digital ecosystem.
- Build effective working relationship with internal, digital partners and market teams.
- Manage the Global partner’s commitment by ensuring all markets meet aligned target. Forge new partnerships with external partners with objective to maximize value.
**Training lead**
- Lead digital "evangelization" initiatives with the APAC clients and internal teams.
- Identify the digital knowledge gap within team, markets, and clients, design training plans & modules. Facilitate and conduct digital strategy and platform trainings for clients in collaboration with partners, internal experts and market digital leads.
**Protecting our high standards**
- Ensure that any work that leaves the agency is of the highest standard. Be part of producing ideas that inspire, motivate, engage & create commercial action.
**Integration**
- Think like a solutions provider. Ensure you encourage the use of other agency services.
**Experience required**:
- 8+ years’ experience in digital marketing or strategic marketing consulting.
- Hands on experience with activation of Google AdWords and Facebook Business Manager a must, LinkedIn and Twitter optional but preferred.
- Strong passion for and knowledge of technology and digital marketing.
- Team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly.
- Ability to thrive in a fluid and multicultural environment.
- Strong familiarity with digital metrics.
- In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and digital disciplines (including audience targeting, programmatic, mobile, social and online analytics.). Strong client facing communication & presentation skills.
