**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Claims Intern to join our Claims team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain administrative experience in claims operations, strengthen professional skills, and contribute to the overall efficiency and compliance of our claims processes.

Duration: Full-time, Summer and/or Winter 2025 (June to December)

**Job Qualifications**

**Required**:

- Currently pursuing a Diploma/degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).

**Preferred**:

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship experience or extracurricular activities demonstrating organizational and administrative support skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities**
- Provide administrative support for routine claims operation processes.
- Assist in managing general claims correspondence, documentation, and database entry.
- Support check processing by verifying, sorting, and posting transactions accurately.
- Support various tasks related to claims handling agreements, assignments, and acknowledgments.
- Collaborate with team members in claim-related projects, assisting with data compilation and reporting as required.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and provide feedback on administrative processes.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established timelines.
- Provide professional, courteous support to claims team and internal stakeholders as directed.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors in support of department objectives.
