Our client is a leading MNC in the food and beverage industry with a solid client base internationally. Singapore operations occupies a key strategic position within the group and to support its growth, we are recruiting its:
**Senior Supply Chain Executive - Shipping and Purchasing**

***(Based in Singapore)

**ORGANISATION**:
This is a key role in the organization and you will be in charge of coordinating logistics and supply chain management for the company’s projects across Southeast Asia region. and your main mandate will be to ensure shipment optimization, related documentation and process management, and supplier management - all of which effectively managed will result to required equipment’s being available at various client sites according to their project schedule and reasonable cost. The role reports to the Managing Director based in Singapore. This is a hands on role and is supported by one Supply Chain Executive.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Establish, organize, manage, and supervise the operation of the subcontractor supply, while ensuring best pricing, zero defects, and on-time delivery of equipment’s at client site.
- Effectively manage logistics and supply chain operations for multiple projects across Southeast Asia region.
- Liaise with existing suppliers and internal sales and project teams on delivery, cost optimization, quality, and technical specifications.
- Develop strategic relationships with existing and new suppliers/sub-contractors including freight forwarders and implement measurement programs to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure delivery of equipment’s at client site on time and within the allocated budget.
- Assess logistics and supply chain related risks and prepare for contingency plan to avoid any impact on project plan.
- Review various shipping and procurement related documentations like Letter of Credit, Invoices, Customs declaration, purchase request, purchase order, and quotations.
- Participate in the identification, planning, and execution of projects involved with supply chain process improvement.
- Manage and engage in skill development of the supply chain executive in your team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:
**YOUR PROFILE**:

- You have a strong educational background; a diploma or degree in logistics/ supply chain management or related discipline will be advantageous.
- At least five (5) years’ experience in shipping and procurement of capital goods in an MNC.
- Strong familiarity with supply chain operations in a turnkey/ project based environment which requires coordination with multiple equipment suppliers.
- You have solid experience in managing all type of shipping documentations e.g., letter of credit, commercial invoice, customs declaration, certificate of origin, bill of lading etc.
- You have strong knowledge of how to manage complex shipping, logistics, purchasing processes and working with subcontractors (3PL/freight forwarders).
- You have experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions with suppliers.
- You have strong analytical skills and solution driven mindset.
- You are proactive and efficient in managing multiple tasks in a demanding and fast-moving environment.
- Your communication skills are excellent, and you can interact effectively with all levels of management.
- You like to work in teams, and you have developed a cultural sensitivity to interact in a local and global environment.
- You are tech savvy and an expert in MS. Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
