- As the Executive Director & Senior Legal Counsel, you will lead global investigations, litigations, identify and address relevant risks to the Company and advise the Business and other stakeholders on legal cross-border topics.**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead cross-border disputes, litigations and legal investigations for Novartis globally, with a focus in the Asia region.
- Engage and collaborate closely with Global Security, Misconduct Reporting and Compliance.
- Lead and/or contribute to global projects and monitor relevant legislative developments and trends
- Lead, coordinate and oversee Group-wide litigation reporting to senior management
- Provide legal leadership on issues by providing pro-active, in-depth, business focused advice and counsel.
- Counsel senior-level executives and business teams within other functions on complex and sensitive legal and business issues.
- Anticipate and maintains up-to-date knowledge of current laws to provide strategic advice and foster compliance.

**Minimum requirements**
**What you’ll bring to the role**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law and admission to practice as an attorney.
- Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry. Good business acumen and deep understanding of legal issues affecting the pharma/healthcare industry.
- Experience within the Asia region would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills demonstrated in a dynamic, fast-paced, and complex environment.
- Highly collaborative individual with ability to influence others and build strong professional relationships.
