**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Job responsibilities**

1. Develop and implement marketing strategies of The Salvation Army’s volunteer programme to recruit individual, group and corporate volunteers.
2. Manage platforms/campaigns/events/orientation for prospective volunteers to learn more about volunteering opportunities within The Salvation Army.
3. Manage enquiries, screening and placement of volunteers.
4. Manage the volunteer database system and produce regular updates on volunteer statistics.
5. Assist in digital marketing and manage online platforms to generate greater awareness and support for The Salvation Army. Design publicity materials and create content for website, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms.
6. Coordinate and assist in events, fund-raising activities and internal events.

**Job requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in mass communications, public relations or marketing.
- Experience in mass communication, digital marketing and/or volunteer coordination.
- Good organisation, communication, marketing and graphic designing skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Must be IT savvy and adept at using various social media platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, web design and graphic design software.

**Working hours**:

- 5 days work week, 8.30am to 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)
- Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
