**Summary of the position**:

- Directly reporting to the Head of CCS, the Deputy Head of CCS is fully in charge of the sections delegated to him. He/She is also fully integrated into the global governance of ISAP as well as the IT business Line he/she is contributing to and act as a backup of the Head of CMC when needed.
- Also the Deputy Head of CCS, proactively participate to the continuous improvement of CCS department in terms of Ways of Working, tooling, organisation, sourcing, career management and contribute as well to ISAP continuous improvement.**Main responsibilities**:

- Organize and prepare the sections according to the needs of the bank.
- Create a sustainable and productive environment for the teams to be in the best level of performance while developing themselves.
- Ensure the utmost level of quality of the deliverables produced by the department.
- Manage the budget of both IT Business Lines contribution as well as ISAP/CCS internal budget.
- Implement the directives, ways of working and overall strategy of the bank inside the department.
- Ensure a proper level of project management and software engineering according to the bank standards.
- Represent CCS in front of the Business, ISAP Mgt, IOS/TBS and IOS/GIT in collaboration with head of CCS.
- Ensure a continuous work on the improvement of the Ways Of Working, tooling, sourcing, training, coaching, methodology, software engineering, organization and governance of the department as well as ISAP as a whole.

**Legal and Regulatory Responsibility**:

- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Make sure his/her team members observe and respect the Bank’s CA-CIB code of conduct and comply with Bank policies
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.-

- **Main duties details**:
**Organize and prepare the sections according to the needs of the bank.**
- Plan and execute the necessary ramp-up and ramp-down on the sections delegated to ensure a proper capacity. Manage budget and capacity allocation according to priorities of the department.
- Ensure the right level of training and coaching of the teams in accordance to upcoming challenging.
- Create an environment to foster and consolidate expertise needed by the department and the bank.
- Lead Sections and Teams in charge to align the setup to CCS and CMS objectives.

**Create a sustainable and productive environment for the teams to be in the best level of performance while developing themselves.**
- In collaboration with CCS Head and ISAP Head, contribute to ISAP marketing in the Singapore work market. Identify and exploit new sources of talents.
- Continuously review and optimize our seniority pyramid in order to optimize the team.
- Plan and build the sourcing strategy in consideration of the seniority pyramid to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Organize the Ways Of Working (WOW) of the teams in charge in order to ensure their maximum level of efficiency, resiliency and comfort.
- Organize and implement the coaching, training, mentoring of the Section Heads in charge and ensure that the equivalent level of coaching, training and mentoring is provided to all of their team members.

**Ensure the utmost level of quality of the deliverables issues by the department**
- Plan, organize and execute a strong and efficient rollout of DevOps in the teams. Create the organization and methods to make it resilient.
- Evaluate the latest Software Engineering trends (SRE, Platform Engineering, polyglotism ) and plan and execute their rollout if relevant.
- Ensure the correct level of review and challenge of the overall Design and software factory of the solutions to ensure the best level of Total Cost of Ownership (TOC) and Time To Market (TTM) for the Bank.
- For each solution in charge, evaluate cloud opportunity and organize the rollout when necessary.
- Act as a safe-guard to ensure the proper level of maintainability, observability and operability of the solutions proposed.
- Perform the right level of budgeting and when necessary lobbying in order to reduce the overall obsolescence of the solution in charge.
