We are looking for an Operations Intern to grow our business.
**About the Role**
As an intern in the Operations Team, you will provide first level support to the daily transactions processing handled by the team. This role will report to the Head of Processing Operations.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform first level AML check for transactions, SWIFTs name screening and raise Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) when required.
- Provide support for monthly price-checks and quality assurance checks.
- Perform download of SWIFT messages and daily rates from Bloomberg and MAS Portal.
- Monitor trade conversations and confirmations.
- Monitor and update progress of cash investigation cases.
- Provide cross functional support within the Operations department where required.
- Identify opportunities and initiate suggestions for improvements.
- Work with relevant stakeholders on delivery of business performance and ensure daily adherence to service level and quality standards in end-to-end delivery of services.
**Requirements**:
- Undergraduate in Business, Banking, Finance, or other relevant majors.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to multi-task, detailed oriented and effective time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as team player and work under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication, conversant in both English and Mandarin.
- Able to commit full time for an internship duration of 3 months.
