As an Accounting and Reporting Specialist - Accounts, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable, credit management and collection activities as a committed team member to meet the needs of ABB’s core business partners and stakeholders. Reporting to Finance Business Partner, you will be ensuring completeness of timely and accurate of the accounting activities performed in compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements. This position is based in Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Performing credit release administration for sales order. Evaluating and exercising judgement in releasing order on credit block
- Analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of customers using external credit risk management reports and internal information
- Performing credit assessment and to provide credit recommendation in supporting the local business on credit decision
- Responding to credit inquiries and to assist to manage customer involving bankruptcy and other legal proceedings
- Reviewing customer’s account on a regular basis and working closely with the team to determine the most effective collection approach and to take appropriate action when necessary
- Identifying disputed receivables and following up with the business to ensure the resolution in a timely manner
- Maintaining regular communication with all the internal stakeholders to understand the business needs and requirement

**Your background**:

- Minimum Diploma in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience, preferably in credit and collection management
- Accounting and basic system knowledge (preferably in SAP)
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Must be a team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills
