Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and experience in financial reporting.

The Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for preparing monthly management reports with clear variance commentary, tracking departmental budgets vs actuals, and analyzing key areas of the financial statements to support margin improvement and business decision-making.

In addition to financial reporting, the successful candidate will also be involved in tax compliance, audit preparedness, and coordinating annual statutory audits.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management reports with clear variance commentary
  • Track departmental budgets vs actuals and highlight key trends
  • Analyze key areas of the financial statements to support margin improvement and business decision-making
  • Prepare and file corporate income tax and GST returns
  • Liaise with external tax agents where required
  • Coordinate annual statutory audits and compile necessary schedules

Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail, with good communication and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting/ERP systems
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in audit, reporting, or tax
  • Prior experience with Singapore tax filings (IRAS)
  • Exposure to management reporting or financial analysis
