
Global Continuous Improvement Lead

**Agilent's OFS Continuous Improvement Team **is seeking an expert **Global Continuous Improvement Leader **.
Our key strategies surround the establishment of the Five CI Pillars:
- employee suggestions
- leadership development
- roadmap execution
- the generation of benefits (savings, morale, quality, etc.)
This position also requires the vision and practice of connecting improvement solutions with existing and emerging digital technology.
**Key responsibilities include:
General
- Exhibits change agent behaviors
- Learns, grows and shares innovative solutions that enhance the continuous improvement of our operations
- Makes high impact through designing and enhancing innovative processes
- Introduces and cultivate digital solutions in all that we do
- Leads development and execution of high impact and/or long-range strategic CI projects and initiatives.
- Develops an active network of CI contacts in our global operations
Structure
- A positive, progressive influence within the Global CI team and extended Global Council to implement a CI model with engaged management support, structure, and clear measures of success
- Work with Director of CI and site management to create an aligned network within OFS factories to support initiation and execution of change and improvement.
- Ensure the relevant stakeholders are engaged and actively participate.
- Identify, challenge and overcome operational and behavioral hurdles
- Create and lead a digital vision in all CI engagements
Metrics/Methods
- Metrics tie directly to operational metrics, success of strategies with a customer-orientation.
- CI tools must be selected for the challenge at hand; Match projects/task with appropriate methodologies.
- Support key projects that support OFS's strategic areas of Quality, Delivery, Value and Gross Margin by coaching and active involvement in operational roadmaps. Review their progress on a regular basis (at least monthly) & actively manage them to closure.
Culture
- CI culture implementation & activities must be visible and constantly in front of entire organization. Include comments on these activities in semi-annual business reviews.
- Contribute to global knowledge database or new practices and success stories
- CI culture includes all levels of the organization - it's essential to gain strong local commitment.
- Consistently and passionate embrace a "digital everyday" mindset and practice.
Build organizational capability:
- Educate various management teams on CI tools and techniques.
- Coach existing CI leaders and seek to develop others.
- Support Director of CI with program rollout and communication through success stories & consistent results.
**Job Qualifications**:
- Successful experience being a change agent and creating cultural change.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills (verbal, written, video, listening).
- Organizational aptitude - ability to work with senior level sponsors as well as frontline employees
- Ability to influence teams, managers, and individuals to take action.
- Positive approach and ability to persist in face of resistance.
- Track record of getting results in different environments, working with different cultures and organizations.
- Ability to improve operations, manufacturing and admin processes across broad range of employee skills.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Strong mentoring skills.
Education requirements:
- Desired: college degree in Operations or related background
- 5+ years of relevant experience for this position.
- Possesses in-depth skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience, and internal recognition in specialty.
- Openness to coaching, mentoring and ongoing personal skill development
